Count Basie Theater | Red Bank, NJ

On May 24th, The Count Basie Theatre will celebrate 20 years of BobFest – The Bob Dylan Birthday Bash.

From modest beginnings at the Downtown Café, where an impromptu performance of ‘every Dylan song Pat Guadagno could think of’  led to the annual bash that has become Red Banks Hippest Musical Event according to Rock Journalist Uncle Mike. This year’s memorial Day Weekend Kickoff concert will feature highlights of the past 20 years of Bob Dylan songs delivered as only Pat Guadagno can deliver. Performing with his band Tired Horses, a ‘curious congregation of extremely talented musicians, who each bring their own individual brand of magic to the stage’. Among them Rob Paparozzi (Original Blues Brothers Band), Jeff Kazee (Southside Johnny) Steve Delopoulos (Burlap to Cashmere) Marc Muller (Shania Twain, Dead On) Arne Wendt (Jon Bon Jovi) and Joe Bellia (The Weaklings) Yuri Turchin (Kinderhook), and some surprise guests.
